Education within the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod has been a high priority for over 150 years. The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod operates the largest Protestant school system in the United States. Currently there are over 1,200 centers dedicated solely to the education and spiritual growth of young children. Open Arms Christian Child Development Center is one of these, and we believe that the ministry of early childhood education is a natural extension of our commitment to be "Sharing the Caring Christ."

Open Arms strives to:

  • Bring each child to know and love their Savior, Jesus Christ, through religious instruction, and an atmosphere of Christian discipline and love.
  • Provide a total education for God's children by meeting their many needs: spiritual, social, intellectual, physical, and emotional.
  • Maintain close contact with parents/ guardians through written and oral communication concerning their child's academic/social progress, and behavioral needs.
  • Encourage parents/guardians to develop a closer relationship in their families with their Lord and Savior.
